'Hong Kong Probes Banking Transactions with NK'

Financial authorities in Hong Kong are reportedly investigating all transactions conducted between local banks there and North Korea’s Taepung International Investment Group.

A local Hong Kong insider says the central bank there requested in late July that some 199 Hong Kong banks inform the government by August third about any transactions they conducted with the Taepung Group over the past six years.
