China Hints at Responding to Planned S.Korea-US Drill

China has denounced the planned joint South Korea-U.S. naval drills in the Yellow Sea and hinted that it could respond with force.

The People's Liberation Army Daily, the official newspaper of China’s military, said in an editorial Friday that Beijing opposes military action by foreign vessels and aircraft in waters near China’s shores.

The report hinted that China could respond to the upcoming South Korea-U.S. military exercises in the Yellow Sea, saying that such military actions by a foreign military can affect domestic security and that China would do harm to those who inflict harm upon it.

The report did not elaborate on the kind of response China might take.
