Russian nuclear experts have raised questions about whether North Korea actually has the ability to detonate a nuclear bomb.

The Itar-Tass news agency quoted a source familiar with nuclear power generation as saying Friday that Russian nuclear experts are raising such suspicions.

The source said that although there appears to be no doubt the North possesses triggering devices, experts don’t believe that Pyongyang has the capability to use them to set off a nuclear device.

The source said the experts also do not believe Pyongyang has missiles that are capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
