NK Leader Returns Home

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has wrapped his eight-day visit to China and returned to the North.

A special train carrying Kim left Beijing Thursday and arrived at Dandong early Friday morning. The North Korean Leader stayed in the Chinese border city for about an hour for a farewell ceremony before his train crossed the Yalu River and into North Korea.

Kim's trip began on May 20th when he entered China's Tumen region. His rail journey of six-thousand kilometers included stops at Mudanjiang, Changchun, Yangzhou, Nanjing and Beijing.
