'US Decision on NK Food Aid to Take 3-4 Wks'

A source in Washington says it will be at least several weeks before the U.S. decides whether to provide food aid to North Korea.

Washington is expected to reach a decision on the food situation in North Korea based on the results of a recent food inspection led by U.S. Envoy on North Korean Human Rights Issues Robert King.

The source said that despite King’s return from the North, the U.S. won't reach a decision immediately. The source added that the decision will take three to four more weeks in light of certain factors.
