Hongik Univ. Students Win Ferrari Design Contest

South Korean university students took top honors at a design competition hosted by the luxury automaker Ferrari.

Ferrari recently announced that three students from Hongik University in Seoul - Kim Cheong-ju, Ahn Dre and Lee Sahng-seok - won the Ferrari World Design Contest 2011 held in Maranello, Italy.

Their winning design model was titled "Eternità," or eternity in English.

Some 400 teams from 50 universities across the globe competed in the contest to design Ferrari's cars of the future.

IED of Turin ranked second and London’s Royal College of Arts finished third.
