Attacks Push Death Toll over 400 in Iraq during Ramadan

Violence in Iraq has left more than 400 people dead during the holy Islamic month of Ramadan.

News agency AFP reported that 409 people were killed and 975 others were wounded from bombings and shootings.

On July 23rd alone, 113 people were killed and 259 wounded in a wave of attacks throughout the country.

Iraq has been ridden with terrorist attacks and bloody gunfights since last month when Al Qaeda forces declared an offensive to reclaim lost regions.
