Japan says it will decide its future responses to the issue regarding the Dokdo islets according to South Korea’s actions.

Japan’s Kyodo News Agency and Nihon Keizai Shimbun daily quoted Japanese Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba as saying at a news conference on Wednesday that Tokyo will determine how it will respond to the matter after monitoring Seoul’s actions.

Gemba said that Tokyo has not made decisions on whether it will cancel a planned summit between South Korea and Japan on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum next month and whether it will suspend the two nation’s shuttle diplomacy.
