Hearing to be Held in U.S. Over Apple's Sales Ban Request

A U.S. district court has scheduled a hearing for next month to consider Apple Inc’s request to ban permanently Samsung Electronics’ products in the United States.

United States District Judge Lucy Koh said the hearing would take place on September 20 and requested Apple hand in a list of all the products it wants banned by August 27.

Information Technology experts have said the sales ban on Samsung Electronics’ products would have a much bigger impact on the smartphone market than the jury decision made on August 25th that awarded a large victory to Apple.
