CCTV: 4 More Infected with New Bird Flu Strain in China

China Central Television says four more people have been diagnosed with a new strain of bird flu in China that’s already killed two people.

Health authorities in Jiangsu Province said the four additional people were confirmed to have H7N9 bird flu, including a woman who kills and sells poultry in Nanjing.

The latest confirmation brings the number of infections in humans by the new strain to seven. Two died in Shanghai and the others are in critical condition.

All the confirmed cases were discovered in the eastern part of the China around Shanghai.
