Stanford Opens Online Korean Course for High Schoolers

Stanford University in the United States has opened an online Korean studies course for American high school students.

It is the first time a U.S. university has started a Korean studies program for high school students.

Stanford says the course is prepared as part of its international and multicultural education program. For one semester, online lectures will be provided on Korean history, culture, and politics, and high school students will take part in debates and home assignments.
