'China Agrees to More Sanctions on N. Korea'

China has reportedly agreed to additional sanctions on North Korea over the North's nuclear test and missile launches.

A UN source, who asked to remain anonymous, says recently there has been a meaningful change in China's attitude concerning North Korea sanctions. The source says two particular matters, impossible without Beijing's approval, have been achieved.

The two matters are believed to be increasing the workforce of the panel of experts under the UN committee on North Korea sanctions, and disclosing an additional blacklist on North Korea and a report drafted by the committee.

Fifteen states take part in the UN Security Council's North Korea sanctions committee including the U.S., China and Russia. Its experts group consists of seven officials dispatched from five permanent UN Security Council members, South Korea and Japan.
