Asiana Airlines published an apology in Chinese media for the deaths of two teenage Chinese girls who were killed when its jet crashed in the U.S. last weekend. 

Kumho Asiana Group Chairman Park Sam-koo and Asiana Airlines President Yoon Young-doo extended the apology, expressing poignant remorse over the pain inflicted on the Chinese people and government.

It extended a heartfelt apology to all passengers and their families.

The letter is published in major Chinese newspapers including the People's Daily, the gazette of the ruling Communist Party.
