Hyundai's Accent Ranked No. 2 Seller in Russia in H1

Hyundai Motor's subcompact "Accent" ranked as the second best-selling car in Russia in the first half of this year.

According to data posted on the website of the Association of European Businesses (AEB), Hyundai sold 57-thousand units of the Accent, which is called “Solaris” in the Russian market, between January and June.

Russia's largest automaker AvtoVAZ’s subcompact Lada Granta was the best-selling car in the cited period.

Kia Motors’ subcompact Pride, which is called the “New Rio” in the Russian market, came in third.

Kia and Hyundai ranked third and fourth, respectively, in terms of sales in Russia.
