The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell five-point-29 points, or point-24 percent, on Wednesday to close at two-thousand-158-point-88.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose six-point-80 points, or point-90 percent, to close at 765-point-96. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-195-point-five won.
