Mothers who breastfeed are advised to get inoculated by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA). 

According to guidelines released Tuesday, the KDCA recommended vaccinations for nursing mothers as long as they don't have a history of severe allergic reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine.

The guideline did note, however, that there is no data on the safety or effectiveness of the vaccines on infants who are breastfed.

Excluded from the list of recommended subjects for the vaccines are pregnant women and children and adolescents under the age of 18, who may be included at a later date pending clinical test results.
