Over 200,000 People Received COVID-19 Vaccine in S. Korea

The number of people who have received COVID-19 vaccines in South Korea has topped 200-thousand since inoculations began a week ago. 

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said Friday that 225-thousand-853, or about point-43 percent of the nation’s population, received first-round inoculations in the seven days to Thursday. 

According to the agency, 221-thousand-944 people have received the AstraZeneca vaccine while three-thousand-909 had the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine. 

Both vaccines require two rounds of shots.
