A consumer group says it will cost more than 300-thousand won this year to set a four-person table for ancestor worship on Chuseok. 

The Korea National Council of Consumer Organizations said on Friday that it will cost 300-thousand-369 won to buy food for the table this year, up nine-point-three percent from last year's 274-thousand-768 won. 

The group reviewed prices at 88 department stores, discount marts and traditional markets in Seoul. 

Among 24 items that usually go on the table, the cost of 22 items rose. Prices of dried persimmons and eggs spiked by almost 40 percent and 37 percent respectively from the previous year.
