The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 15-point-94 points, or zero-point-53 percent on Thursday, closing the day at three-thousand-nine-point-55.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also shed eight-point-82 points, or zero-point-87 percent, to close at one-thousand-point-13.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-169-point-seven won.
