The benchmark Korean Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) shed two-point-37 points, or zero-point-09 percent, on Tuesday to close the day at two-thousand-582-point-18.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, dropping two-point-32 points, or zero-point-25 percent, to close at 921-point-48.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened ten-point-eight won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-330-point-six won.
