The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) inched down nine-point-29 points, or zero-point-34 percent on Thursday to close at two-thousand-745-point-82.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also slid one-point-20 points, or zero-point-13 percent, to close at 910-point-05.
 
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-five won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-346-point-two won.
