Gov't Inspection by Parliament Due in Oct.
Ruling and opposition parties have agreed to conduct this year’s 20 day-long parliamentary inspection on government offices starting October eleventh.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between deputy floor leaders of the ruling Uri Party and the main opposition Grand National Party on Tuesday.
A speech on next year’s budget plan will be delivered on November 1st to be followed by speeches of the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties in December.
The National Assembly’s questioning of top government officials will take place from November 6th to the 9th on politics, unification and security, economy and education.
