Reporters from Arab news channel Al Jazeera have interviewed the families of Korean hostages held by Taliban rebels.

Three Al Jazeera reporters Thursday morning visited the Korean Foundation for World Aid in Seoul, holding a 40-minute interview with several mothers of the captives.

After the interview, one of the reporters said the families were handling the situation with courage even under the difficult conditions.

The reporter said the interview focused on the anxieties of the families and their urging the Taliban to release the hostages.

Al Jazeera plans to air the interview later in the day.
