Korean short-track speed skater Ahn Hyun-soo has won three gold medals in the short-track at the International Skating Union (ISU) World Cup held in Harbin, China.

Ahn took the men’s second round 15-hundred meter race Monday finishing at two minutes, 17 seconds.

The win was on top of the previous day's gold in the five-thousand-meter relay and the one-thousand meter race.

Korea’s Jin Sun-yu took the gold in the 15-hundred women’s race but her team came in second to China in the three-thousand meter relay.

Harbin was the first stop in the World Cup, which saw Korean skaters take home six golds, eight silvers, and three bronzes. The next round will be held in Kobe, Japan from Friday to Sunday. The competition comprises six rounds.
