Bell Labs to Open Research Center in Seoul
Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs will open a research center in Digital Media City (DMC) in Sangam-dong, western Seoul on December 17th.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government and Bell Labs signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the research center in June 2006.
Bell Labs has formed a consortium with Korea University to open the research center.
The Bell research center will be located in a research and development complex that houses research centers from ten universities and 26 IT companies.
