N. Korean Leader Calls for Tougher Discipline in Military

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has reportedly presided over a Central Military Commission meeting and called for more control and discipline within the military.

According to the North's official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) on Thursday, Kim chaired the expanded military commission meeting of the ruling Workers' Party on Wednesday.

The meeting addressed a series of political and moral deficiencies revealed in military commanding officials.

Kim reportedly said that the establishment of moral discipline within the military is not just a technical issue, but a fatal issue that decides the survival of the army and the success or failure of its activities.

Kim then called for intensified education and control to ensure that the commanding officers of the new generation have the proper political consciousness and moral point of view.
