World Economy to Grow 0.9% Next Year
The World Bank has a grim outlook for the global economic situation next year.
It predicted the global economy will grow nine-tenths of a percent next year, as gross domestic production growth in developing countries will drop to four-point-five percent from six-point-three percent this year.
Advanced countries are expected to experience average negative growth in their GDP.
China will see a seven-point-five percent economic growth rate next year, down from nine-point-four percent this year.
Overall global trade volume will decrease two-point-one percent next year to finish in the red for the first time since 1982.
