78% of Seoul Citizens Support Multicultural Society
A survey finds that about 78 percent of Seoul citizens think coexistence of various races, religions and cultures contributes to the society's competitiveness.
According to a poll of some one-thousand Seoul citizens by Seoul Foundation of Women and Family, 53 percent said that they approve of international marriage by themselves or their children.
In addition, 76 percent of the respondents said that the central government or the Seoul city government should increase budgets or support to reduce human rights infringements and discrimination against foreigners.
