Two Morea H1N1 Cases Confirmed in Korea

South Korea’s flu task force confirmed two new cases of H1N1 influenza on Thursday.

The two cases were found in students returning home for vacation from the U.S. One arrived in the nation on June fifth and the other June sixth.

The latest confirmations have raised the total number of flu patients to 55.

Of them, 46 have recovered from the disease and have been discharged from the hospital. The other nine remain quarantined and are receiving medical treatment.

The flu task force asked those studying abroad who are planning to return home for vacation to immediately report to health authorities if they show flu symptoms.
