US B-1B Nuclear Bombers to Fly to Korean Peninsula on Tuesday

The U.S. will deploy two B-1B strategic bombers on the Korean Peninsula on Tuesday, a day later than originally planned.
U.S. Forces Korea(USFK) announced the adjusted schedule, explaining that the flight of the B-1B Lancers was postponed on Monday due to unfavorable weather conditions in Guam.
The scheduled flight of the unit from Guam to South Korea comes in an apparent show of force against North Korea.
B-1B Lancers, which were developed to replace B-52s in the 1980s, can carry diverse weapons, including nuclear bombs and guided weapons such as the GBU-31, GBU-38 and GBU-53.
