Top Security Adviser to Discuss Alliance, N. Korea in US

South Korea's top presidential security adviser is set to leave Sunday for the United States to consult with the incoming administration of Donald Trump.
The presidential office Cheong Wa Dae says Kim Kwan-jin, head of the National Security Office, is seeking to reaffirm the shared understanding of how important it is to maintain a robust Korea-US alliance.
North Korea's steadily increasing nuclear weapons and ballistic missile capability are at the top of the agenda.
Donald Trump is scheduled to be sworn in as U.S. president on January 20th.
