Military: No Signs of Imminent N. Korea Provocation

North Korea is not believed to be showing any unusual signs amid concerns that it could wage a provocation timed with Donald Trump's inauguration on Friday.
An official at South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said Saturday there have been no particular moves from the North Korean military and there are no signs of an imminent test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
The official however said that South Korea will not lower its guard and is keeping close tabs on the situation as Pyongyang can provoke anytime anywhere at the order of leader Kim Jong-un.
In his New Year's address, Kim said his country was in the final stages of preparing for an ICBM test launch.
Since then, the North has been raising tension using state-run media to warn that a missile will be launched at any given time and location.
Meanwhile the Navies of South Korea, the U.S. and Japan are holding a naval exercise in their respective waters for the second day aimed at detecting, tracing and countering North Korean missiles.
