Straight Times: Malaysia Summons N. Korean Ambassador

The Malaysian government has reportedly summoned the North Korean ambassador to Malaysia, Kang Chol, after the envoy criticized Malaysian authorities over the recent autopsy of Kim Jong-nam.
On Friday, the North Korean ambassador held a media conference and accused Malaysia of cooperating with “hostile forces” by rejecting Pyongyang’s claim for Kim’s body. He also said the North will reject the result of the autopsy.
The Straight Times on Monday quoted a source as saying that the Malaysian foreign ministry demanded North Korean Ambassador to Malaysia Kang Chol attend a closed-door meeting of the ministry set for early Monday.
The source said that only the Malaysian police and the Malaysian foreign ministry are authorized to speak about the suspicious death of Kim Jong-nam, which occurred at Kuala Lumpur International Airport last Monday.
The Malaysian police dismissed the ambassador’s claims and said that until Kim Jong-nam’s family provides DNA samples, they will not hand over his body.
