Malaysia Promises Safety for Kim Jong-nam's Son

The Malaysian government has encouraged the son of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s half-brother, Kim Jong-nam, to come forward to identify the body of his father, promising him safety.
According to the Malaysia-based daily, The Star, on Wednesday, Malaysia’s Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed assured Kim Han-sol would be protected in Malaysia.
Noting that he does not know whether or not Kim is already in Malaysia, the deputy minister said that the 21-year-old son of Kim Jong-nam can contact the Malaysian foreign ministry or other Malaysian government authorities if he intends to come to Malaysia.
He was also quoted as saying “we will protect him as we don’t want another death to happen here.”
Kim Han-sol was speculated to have entered Malaysia and identified the body of his father kept at the Hospital Kuala Lumpur, but the Malaysian authorities denied the media reports, saying no family members have yet come forward to claim the body.
