Malay Police to Visit Kim’s Family for DNA Samples

Malaysian authorities are soon expected to send officials to Macao to capture DNA samples from the son of late Kim Jong-nam.

The China Press and other Malaysian news agencies reported on Thursday that three police officers will be sent to Macao for two days to reaffirm the identity of the assassination victim.

They are expected to leave for the Chinese city as early as Thursday morning.

The media said that the police agents will get DNA samples of the wife and children of the deceased, who was attacked by two female suspects at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and died while en route to the hospital last week.

The police move comes as North Korea argues that the identity of the man should only be concluded as Kim Chol, as written on the diplomatic passport the man was found with.
