Malay Man Arrested in Assassination Probe

The Malaysian police have reportedly arrested a Malaysian man suspected to be linked with the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s half-brother, Kim Jong-nam.
According to Malaysia’s The Star daily on Friday, the Malaysian police arrested a Malaysian man in his 30s in a condominium in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday night. The man then led police to another condominium where they seized various chemical materials as well as several gloves and shoes.
The Star said that the Malaysian police are looking into the possibility that the man is connected with the suspects already detained in connection with the death of Kim Jong-nam.
So far, the Malaysian police have arrested Ri Jong-chol, a North Korean chemistry expert and two other suspects -- Vietnamese and Indonesian women--for their investigation into the February 13th killing of Kim Jong-nam.
Four other North Korean suspects fled to North Korea immediately after the killing, while two additional North Korean suspects, the second secretary at the North’s Embassy in Malaysia Hyon Kwang-song and Air Koryo employee Kim Wook-il, went into hiding.
