"Kim Jong-nam Killed by Chemical Weapon VX Nerve Agent"

The Malaysian police have confirmed Friday that a strong toxic chemical classified as a weapon of mass destruction was used in the killing of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s half-brother Kim Jong-nam.

The Malaysian police announced a preliminary forensic analysis of the body of Kim Jong-nam and said traces of “VX nerve agent” were found.

VX is a highly toxic substance used for chemical warfare. The United Nations(UN) classifies it as a weapon of mass destruction.

The 45-year-old estranged half brother of Kim Jong-un was murdered in Malaysia's main international airport on February 13th in what appears to be a poison attack carried out by two female suspects.

Earlier this week, Malaysian health authorities said there were no signs of heart attack or injection marks in his body.

Pyongyang has denied its involvement in the death of Kim, whom it is calling Kim Chol, the name on the passport he was carrying.
