Seoul: N. Korea to Pay "Unbearable Prices"

The South Korean government has denounced North Korea's latest missile launches.

Hours after North Korea's test firing of missiles Monday morning, the Foreign Ministry issued a statement to condemn the move.

While noting that the launches were in violation of UN bans on ballistic missile activities by the North, the government also warned that the regime will have to pay "unbearable prices" for the provocation.

The government said that it will make sure that the global community would thoroughly implement UN Security Council Resolution 2270 and 2321, and also ensure bilateral sanction by the U.S., Japan and the European Union will properly pressure North Korea.

The government said that the North Korean regime has once again proved that it will not heed to the international community's joint warning against its nuclear and missile programs. It said that the North will only face further isolation and self-destruction due to its WMD programs.
