S. Korea, U.S. Security Advisers Hold Phone Talks

National Security Adviser Kim Kwan-jin and his U.S. counterpart Herbert McMaster held telephone talks to discuss North Korea's latest ballistic missile launch.

The South Korean presidential office revealed that the two sides held a telephone consultation Monday morning and agreed to boost cooperation to deal with the North.

During the 15 minute talks, the two presidential advisers strongly condemned the North’s missile launch and also agreed to hold more detailed discussions on the North Korea issue when Kim visits the U.S.

In a previous phone call last week, Kim told McMaster that he will make a visit to the U.S. as soon as possible.
