Reuters reports that the Donald Trump administration is expected to complete its North Korea strategy review by the end of this month.
 
The news agency on Tuesday discussed the timetable citing American officials. 
 
An official told Reuters that putting the North back on the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism is a possible response to the suspected use of nerve gas in the alleged assassination of Kim Jong-un's half brother at a Malaysian airport last month. 
 
Reuters quoted other U.S. officials as saying that for now a preemptive attack is considered far too risky as it could prompt a regional war.
 
A Washington official told Reuters that the media reports highlighting military options were “overblown.”
