Army Commandos Conduct Drill in Preparation against Enemy Infiltrations
The military says that some 200 army commandos have conducted a drill under the scenario that enemy forces have infiltrated the nation to attack.
The Army’s Second Operational Command said the drill was held in connection with the ongoing Foal Eagle exercise and was part of preparations to protect the rear areas from possible enemy attacks.
Tuesday’s exercise simulated dispatching special warfare and aviation forces to take down enemy forces who attack key state facilities.
The military’s 18 Surion, Chinook and Black Hawk helicopters were used to transport the troops on the mission.
