Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said Wednesday that China clearly adheres to realizing denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula, adding that issues must be resolved peacefully through dialogue.
 
Li made the remark in a news conference held at the Beijing’s Great Hall of the People shortly after the National People's Congress closed its session.
 
Li said his country has sternly implemented UN resolutions regarding the peninsula and has continuously addressed peninsula issues with a clear stance.
 
He went on to say that lately issues regarding the Korean Peninsula are creating tension in Northeast Asia and could lead to clashes and harm related countries.
 
Li said China wants each country to ease tensions and get back on track for holding dialogue to ultimately resolve pending issues.
