Nuke Envoy of S. Korea, US to Hold Talks on N. Korean Nuke

Top nuclear envoys of South Korea and the United States are scheduled to discuss the North Korean nuclear issue Wednesday in Seoul.
The Foreign Ministry says the planned talks between U.S. Special Representative Joseph Yun and South Korean diplomat Kim Hong-kyun are a follow-up to last week's meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se.
The ministry says the talks underscore the U.S. administration’s awareness of the urgency of North Korea's nuclear threats as well as its strong will to resolve the North’s nuclear issue.
Yun and Kim also plan to discuss how to cooperate with China to strengthen sanctions and pressure against North Korea. The U.S. diplomat will also share the results of his meeting with Chinese nuclear envoy Wu Dawei in Beijing.
