AP: US Detects N. Korea's Move to Launch Missile Soon

The Associated Press(AP) reported on Tuesday that Washington is expecting North Korea to launch a missile within the next few days.
The AP quoted an unnamed Pentagon official as saying Washington recently observed the North moving a missile launch pad in Wonsan in eastern Gangwon Province and setting up observatory seats for its top officials.
The official said that the U.S. has strengthened surveillance of North Korea using satellites, drones and planes.
The official, however, said it is not clear what kind of missile the North will launch. The North previously fired 800-kilometer to two-thousand-500 kilometer range missiles from Wonsan, such as the Nodong and Scud missiles.
This year, the North test-fired a Pukguksong-2 intermediate-range missile from Panghyon airfield in North Pyongan on February 12th, and launched four other ballistic missiles from Dongchang-ri also in North Pyongan on March sixth.
