UNSC Condemns N. Korea Missile Launch in 3rd Press Statement This Year
The UN Security Council has unanimously denounced this week's missile launch by North Korea.
It's the third council statement this year concerning Pyongyang's missile provocations.
The council describes the North's missile tests as a "grave violation of its international obligations," representing "increasingly destabilizing behavior and flagrant and provocative defiance of the Security Council."
A series of UNSC resolutions on North Korea sanctions adopted since 2006 ban North Korea from firing ballistic missiles.
