Malaysian Media: Kim Jong-nam's Body Leaves Hospital Mortuary

Malaysian media reported signs Thursday that Kim Jong-nam's body may have left the mortuary.

According to the China Press, a Chinese language newspaper in Malaysia, a silver gray multipurpose vehicle carrying a corpse was seen leaving Kuala Lumpur Hospital early Thursday afternoon.

The North Korean leader's half brother has been kept there for forensic examination following his murder at Kuala Lumpur airport last month.

The Malaysian report says journalists chased the vehicle and saw it taking a road that inevitably leads to the Kuala Lumpur airport cargo transport center.

Another local outlet, the Sun Daily, says reporters waiting outside the cargo center saw the vehicle arriving and cited a source as confirming the body in the vehicle was Kim Jong-nam.

The daily reported the body is headed to Macao and not Beijing, however, and the time of departure has yet to be determined.
