The U.S. has called on China to take action to resolve the North Korean nuclear program.
 
U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikky Haley made the urge on an ABC program on Sunday, saying that China is the only country that can stop North Korea and China knows it.
 
She said the U.S. will continuously put pressure on Beijing to take action against Pyongyang.

"They need to have action. And we're going to continue to put pressure on China to have action. That will be shown in multiple ways."
 
Haley said the North Korean nuclear issue will be the most important on the agenda of the scheduled summit meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Thursday and Friday.
