Inter-Korean Soccer Match Under Way in Pyongyang

The South Korean women’s national football team is playing against North Korea’s team in the second match of the Asian Football Confederation Women's Asian Cup Group B qualifiers in Pyongyang.
 
Led by coach Yoon Deok-yeo, Team Korea is seeking to beat the North’s team at the match being held at the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium which can accommodate up to 150-thousand spectators.
 
The winner of Friday’s match will earn a spot in the 2018 Women’s Asian Cup that will open in Jordan next April.
 
Team Korea must beat North Korea to secure a spot in the Asian Cup in order to have the chance to compete in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup that will open in France.
