Anchor: U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jingping held telephone talks to discuss North Korea issues again. After dispatching an aircraft carrier and other warships to waters near the Korean Peninsula, Trump told an American news agency Kim Jong-un is doing the wrong thing.

Report: U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping held telephone talks to discuss the situation in North Korea.
 
China's state broadcaster CCTV reported that the two sides held discussions over the phone on Wednesday. 
 
Xi was cited as stressing that the Korean peninsula tension should be resolved through peaceful means. 
 
The phone talks came following President Trump's Twitter messages, in which he reiterated that the U.S. will solve the problem on its own if China does not help.
 
Trump also revealed he told Xi that a trade deal with the U.S. will be far better for China if it solves the North Korean problem.
 
The American president in the meantime has intensified pressure on North Korea. 
 
In an interview with Fox News, Trump noted that the U.S. sent a strong armada to the region and have submarines that are even more powerful as he stressed that Kim Jong-un is doing the wrong thing.  
 
He held back from further discussing specific plans while stating the capabilities of the USS Carl Vinson strike group which is currently en route to waters near the Korean Peninsula.
