Chinese FM: Conflict Can Break out Any Time Over N. Korea
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has again warned on Friday that a conflict can break out at any time as tensions rise between the U.S. and North Korea.
According to Hong Kong-based Phoenix Television, Minister Yi made this remark during a joint news conference in Beijing with visiting French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault.
Yi said that if a war occurs, everyone will lose.
The minister said China opposes any actions that escalate tensions on the Korean Peninsula stressing that dialogue is the only possible solution. He also urged restraint on concerned nations.
